Connaught Grave care offer a unique friendly and professional service specialising in the care and maintenance of graves and memorials within the Connaught and surrounding areas.
The current demands of busy lifestyles, illness or moving away from your localarea can mean that you cannot provide the attention or time to a special resting place that you would like, the grave or memorial can subsequently become unkempt and unclean. We at Connaught Grave Care can help with this.
Our mission is to provide help with the care and upkeep of your loved ones final resting place so that if you are unable to visit as often as desired, we can offer the peace of mind that the grave is still cared for and looked after on your behalf.
We offer various valuable care packages so that the grave area can look clean, tidy and tended to.
We will tend the resting place, clean and polish the headstone or memorial, tidy around the general area for you and place an appropiate arrangement of fresh flowers.
At anniversaries, birthdays, christmas etc., we can place a floral tribute or wreath for you.
Each grave tending is carried out in a dignified respectful and discreet manner helping you know that there will always be someone to care " Because You Do"
G rave Tending Services
Each visit by one of our specialist grave carers includes the following general maintenance:
•Trimming of grass around headstone and edge of plot
•Removal of weeds
•Removal of all debris (old flowers, plants and other litter)
•Washing of memorial and containers
•Cleaning of headstone/memorial (Quote available upon inspection)
•Fresh floral bouquets or seasonal planting
P hoto Record
We take a digital photograph which we will e-mail or post to you. This enables you to visually inspect the work that we have carried out, and to see the difference each visit on your behalf has made.
M emorial Repairs and Grave vases
If we believe that the memorial or kerb edging requires some repairs or additional maintenance, we will provide you with detailed photographs and a written report from a qualified stone mason. We can also provide you with a 'no obligation' quotation on any work that needs completing at subsequent visits, including the replacement of old or 'lost' grave vases, the renewal of stone/pebble/slate/rubber chippings, or any turfing or top soil work.
A specialist monumental mason would carry out any repairs that may be necessary to the memorial or the inscription.
G rave Locating Service
If you can provide us with the grave location number, we can easily find the location. But don’t worry if you don’t have this, we can locate it for you for a one off fee.
Special Dates. You can choose to have your Gravecare carried out around special dates of your choice, maybe a birthday or anniversary.
F loral Tribute Delivery
As part of our personal service, we will lay flowers on your behalf to remember special days such as Mothers/Fathers Day birthdays, St Patricks day, Easter, Christmas and anniversaries
We can even deliver at Christmas and are more than happy to arrange for any floral display to be delivered at any time.
We can arrange various bouquets or wreaths, each delivery will include a light cleaning and tidy up of the area. Delivery is available 7 days a week, ensuring your tribute arrives on the day required.
O ur floral delivery service includes:
•Placing of floral tribute at the grave
•General tidying and removal of any previous decaying material
•A remembrance card will be hand written by us with your personal message
We can also supply artificial floral tributes should you prefer - please contact us with your requirements and we will try our very best to find an arrangement that you feel is suitable.

O ur Terms & Conditions
We endeavour to complete all grave maintenance between Monday to Friday however on occasion we will operate at weekends. If you have supplied particular dates for grave tending we will ensure this work is completed no more than two days before your chosen date.
In the event that you are unable to provide a grave number, we cannot guarantee that the work will be done on the first visit as we will need to first locate the grave. If you require us to locate the grave for you, use our grave locator service for a one off cost of €25.00.
The digital photograph taken after the work is complete will be your proof of delivery and fulfilment of your order; this photograph will either be emailed or posted to you. A copy will be kept for our records which will not be used for any promotional purposes.
We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising after your order has been fulfilled.
Plant/ bulb or fresh flower substitutions may on occasion be necessary due to any availability or seasonal issues. However we will ensure that the style and colour scheme is retained with equal or higher value.
Upon receipt of order we require ten working days before we can make our first visit to the grave. We will endeavour to complete all grave maintenance no more than two days before any specific dates supplied however these cannot be guaranteed if they fall within these first ten days.
We are not able to accept responsibility for problems arising from the provision of a service where relevant permissions have not been obtained.
Connaught Grave Care is committed to protecting your privacy and will only use information that we collect from you in order to process payments. We maintain all security and transaction processing software standards.
Payment Terms are 50% deposit and the remainder outstanding due on completion of work.
